Image                                                                                                                                                                         I am the kind of person who gets anxiety when I don’t have a scheduled place to go in the morning. I am just the type that likes to have an office and a regimen on a daily basis. I am sure that some of you must think that’s nuts, but that’s what has made me happy. Even when I was going to work at 6 am, I didn’t mind. I loved what I was doing.  Over the years, I have gotten better at having days off, but after a while, I get nervous. I am trying really hard to embrace the future, sleeping in, running when I want.. reading during the day… OYYY that sounds so boring. I am going to have to throw myself in my new business of Media Training. The thing that I do like about this new business is that it’s not turning out to just be media training, It’s turning into a mish mosh of all the thing I love.

The one thing that I have always enjoyed is mentoring young women (and men) into the TV business. I am a fighter. I always thought I should have been an agent, and now, I can actually help people with their careers. You know why? It all goes back to good relationships with people I have met along the way.  I know so many people in the business, cause as you know, I have been producing for MANY MANY MANY years!!

So, this media training, like my producing of a TV show, is finding it’s way. At first Jane Hanson and I were just plain old media training for people who want to be in front of the camera. Then we helped some people who were just scared or needed organization with speech giving. Then we started to help people meet the people who could move their careers forward (sort of managing and I really like that part).

Recently my friends, like Joan Rivers said, why don’t I come and talk to people about the business and give advice on how I survived it and how they can too. And she will do it, I will let you all know the date that she will attend one our training sessions. But it got me thinking, we should have a guest speaker give inspiration at every boot camp session. Last night I had dinner with Hoda and she too wants to come and be a part of it. Looks like our media training boot camps are shaping up to something I will be very proud of.!

I am excited to help people learn the business and not make some of the mistakes that no one tells you about.

Our first Media Training Bootcamp is Saturday August 4th in NYC.

If you would like more information on how you can attend (prices etc) please email me
